Privacy Policy - GOAT Hoops

This Privacy Policy describes how Simit Studios collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile game application, GOAT Hoops (the "Game").
1. Information We Collect
Username: When you first start the Game, we ask you to provide a username. This username will be used to identify you on the Game's online leaderboards.
Gameplay Data: We collect information about your gameplay, including:
Your score in each game session.
Your total score accumulated across all games.
Your highest score achieved in a single game.
Your number of lives.
The number of shots you make and miss.
Whether you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to double your score.
Your daily play streak (number of consecutive days you play the Game).
Device Information (Collected by Third Parties): While we do not directly collect device information, our third-party advertising partner, Google AdMob, may collect certain information about your device, such as device model, operating system, and advertising identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID). This information is used to serve you relevant advertisements.
Leaderboard Data (Managed by PlayFab): Your username and scores are transmitted to and stored by Microsoft's PlayFab service for the purpose of managing and displaying the Game's online leaderboards.
2. How We Use Your Information
Username: Your username is used to display your ranking on the Game's daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards.
Gameplay Data:
We use your scores to rank you on the leaderboards.
We use your scores to determine your eligibility for in-game accolades.
We store your total and highest scores locally on your device using PlayerPrefs to display them within the Game (e.g., on the main menu).
Information about your interaction with rewarded ads is used to provide you with the advertised reward (doubled score).
Your daily streak is tracked locally on your device to provide you with that feature.
Device Information (Collected by Third Parties): The device information collected by Google AdMob is used to personalize the advertisements you see in the Game. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information on how they use this data.
Microsoft PlayFab: We use PlayFab to store and retrieve leaderboard data, allowing you to compete with other players. Please refer to Microsoft's PlayFab Privacy Policy for information on their data handling practices.
3. Sharing of Your Information
Microsoft PlayFab: We share your username and scores with Microsoft PlayFab for the purpose of operating the Game's leaderboards.
Google AdMob: We allow Google AdMob to serve advertisements in our Game, and they may collect and process certain information as described in their Privacy Policy.
Future Analytics: We may in the future use third-party analytics services to help us understand how users interact with the Game, improve its features, and optimize the gameplay experience. If we do so, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
4. Data Retention
Your username and leaderboard scores will be retained on PlayFab for as long as the Game is active and the leaderboards are maintained. You should refer to PlayFab's data retention policies for more specific information.
Gameplay data stored locally on your device (using PlayerPrefs) will be retained on your device until you delete the Game or reset your device's storage.
5. Children's Privacy
GOAT Hoops is a game intended for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action. The collection of device information by Google AdMob may be subject to their own policies regarding children's privacy.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. As we primarily collect a username, which is used for leaderboard purposes, your ability to access, rectify, or erase this data may be limited within the Game itself.
